You can build a real product with AI. You just need to know what to ask for.

If you have an idea but no technical background, I’m here to help you build it properly. I share the practical decisions I’ve learned from more than a decade in engineering, without the jargon or a course on how to code.

How I can help

I’ll help you think through the parts AI can’t

  1. The tool is only part of it

AI can write a lot of code very quickly. The hard part is knowing what to ask for, what order to do things in, and when to stop and check the work. That is the part I can help you with.

  2. You do not need to become a developer

You just need to understand the few decisions that keep a project on track. I explain those decisions in everyday language, so you can make them without spending years learning to code.

  3. Make the next step smaller

When a project feels overwhelming, the next step is usually too big. I will show you how to break the work down until you know exactly what to do next — and can actually ship it.

Things I’ve made for you

Start with the playbook. I’m also working on a few smaller tools to help whenever you get stuck.

  • Ebook

    The Vibecoding Playbook

    Available now

I wrote this for anyone who has fixed one thing with AI only to break something else. It walks you through turning your idea into a clear plan, giving your agent the right context, and building one reliable piece at a time. You will also learn the basics of security, testing, and monitoring, so you can trust what you ship.

    Prompt pack

    In progress

The prompts I use to get unstuck: defining a feature, writing a useful brief, checking a plan, and deciding what to build next. Find the situation you are in, copy the prompt, and keep moving.

  • Agent packs

    Skills

    Planned

Ready-made skills for Cursor, Claude, and similar tools. Add one to your agent and it will start the task with better instructions, instead of making you explain everything from scratch.

  • Utilities

    Integrable tools

    Planned

Small tools you can add to the way you already work. Each one handles a useful check an experienced engineer would normally remember to do for you.

Keep in touch

Want me to let you know when the next thing is ready?

Leave your name and email and I’ll send you a short note when I make something useful. That’s it — no weekly newsletter you forgot signing up for.

I’ll only email when I have something worth sharing. Leave whenever you like. Here’s how I handle your data.

A little about me

I’m Josh. I’ve spent more than a decade building software and leading engineering teams in fintech, insurance, and other industries where getting things wrong has real consequences.

I’ve seen good teams make the same painful mistakes again and again. Now I see people building with AI running into those problems much sooner, often without anyone to ask. So I’m writing down what I wish someone could tell you before things break.
